Hacı Mustafa Koçer started his business life in 1936 with a private company, in 1970 he changed the name of the company and it came up till today by taking the name H. Mustafa Koçer ve Oğulları Kollektif
Having an important place in Turkish economy with degrees in tax payment since its incorporation, honour awards received in investments made with foreign capitals and its awareness and reputation in local market, Kocerler´s succes foundations were laid by haci Mustafa Kocer in 1932 in Gaziantep, who is known with his H. Mustafa Koçer ve Oğulları Kollektif honesty, charitable manner and courage.
In 1932, Haci Mustafa Kocer started his business career by disassembling old cars and selling spare parts. A few years later, he took Southeast Anatolia Distributorship of Austin- one of the first foreign capitals which came to Turkey in the beginning of the period that distributorship started, and he started to sell vehicles besides cars.
In addition to vehicle sales, in 1940 first established fuel stations were developed in Gaziantep by investing in collaboration with another foreign capital, Bp Petrolleri A.S.
In 1950s the number of fuel stations was increased to 3 while breaking Turkey records in truck sales on the other hand.
In 1960s it became first importer of Henschell Trucks in addition to Regional Distributorship of Austin, and the number of fuel stations increased to 5.

Company moved to other investment areas since truck sales and spare parts business started to lose its pace in 1970s. İn 1972, in a land of 44 decare a partnership was established with Akkoza Mensucart which was one of the two textile factories of Gaziantep during that periosd, and in 1973 the Distributorship of Pirelli Tyres was taken. In 1974 company started industrial and medical gas business and in 1975 it took wholesale mineral oil distributorship of Southeast and East Anatolia .
In 1980s, commercial vehicle and spare part sales were stopped due to the constriction in automotive industry and company applied constriction by decreasing number of fuel stations from 5 to 3. But on the other hand Gapas A.S. , a partnership, was established and 2 stations were built. Furthermore, Green A.S. was established under the roof of Gapas which performs activities in readymade garments field of textile industry. Another partnership Akkoza put Betas Yarn factory into service in Adiyaman.
In 1990s company followed constriction policy due to the cyclical constriction in Turkiye, new organisational structure was created within the company by leaving partnership in Akkoza and Gapas A.S, with various reasons, mineral oil distribution and marketing became main activity with focus on white and black fuels.
In 2000s company returned to production industry with Motif A.S, partnership of which main activity is carpets while maintaining its activities in Kalyak Fuel Oil with 3 fuel stations of which 2 of them is active, Bp Castrol Mineral Oil Partnership in 6 cities and Industrial and Medical Gas in a capacity to correspond requirements of 3 regions.
After the 2nd half of 2000s, business partnership of bp-castrol was left due to commercial reasons, and commercial fuels were left with reasons of constricting market. The regional borders of special lubrication products of Castrol was extended to Adana since a great growth potential was foreseen and we continued to maintain our activities in fuel industry by adding automatic fuel payment system to our two stations as a result of new marketing strategies. We maintain our activities in carpet production and industrial and medical gas field by expanding our business in these areas.
Besides having the 1st rank and almost 50 top ranks in corporate tax and income tax payers for over 70 years period, Kocerler gets ahead with firsts and principles in business life and feels the pride of its past full with Turkey records in regional distribution, distribution and partnership.
